Existing from 2004 to 2006 and hailing from New Brunswick, New Jersey, Make Me combined quiet and upbeat melodies commonly heard in mid/late 90's emo like American Football and harsh, screamed vocals to create a fun and original take on the screamo genre. During their short time together, the band released a self-titled demo in 2004 and a split with fellow NJ hardcore band Black Juju in 2005. Band's biography from their Myspace back in the day: "There isn't any crazy story about how we came together. We're all tight friends and the band naturally formed itself in early 2004. Evan had to dust off the good ol' drumset and Chris picked up the bass instead of his guitar for the first time. Jam sessions and fooling around quickly turned into... jamming and fooling around.
