BIO: Lost From Atlas are an instrumental, alternative post-rock trio from Yorkshire born in 2008. In#uences range from 65daysofstatic and Explosions In The Sky to Battles and Foals. They bring a refreshing blend of ambient melody and intense, instrumental technicality, stitching it all together with epic climaxes. In a live environment the band challenge the conventional ways of performance, interlinking song structures, improvising and playing continuous sets without any breaks or gaps between pieces. Since the band formed they have played frequent shows around the Yorkshire area and toured across the UK in December 2009. In July 2009 they self-released their limited edition debut 3 track EP. In the winter of 2009 the band recorded their debut self-titled album which was produced by David Lawrie and released on January 9th 2010.
