Lord Auch formed in London in October 2007. The 3 piece consisted of Si McCabe (vox), Liam Wade. (guitar) and Danny Prescott (drums). Si and Danny formerly of Black Wire and Liam of Courtney Love played their first live show at Bardens Boudoir East London on the 7th December 2007. At the first show they were picked up by indie label Young and Lost Club Records for a single release in May 2008. The band also embarked on the sold out Young and Lost Club U.K tour with Naked and the Boys and Noah and the Whale. They have since toured with islands, the paddingtons, Dirty pretty things, the duke spirit and the brute chorus. LORD AUCH release thier debut single 'THE DIG INN/GRASS FINGERS' on young and lost club on 26th may 2008 and thier follow-up single 'Mareado' b/w 'Lettre de Cachet' on 15th january 2009. The 4 track E.P ...to the shithouse released on January 25th 2010 on Young and Lost Club Records saw the band come back with 2 new members. Leo Kurunis playing bass and Nicholas Jones as second guitarist and percussionist. The band have now just completed the recording of their debut album with their long time producer Choque Hossein who has worked with the band on all their other releases as well as Early Black Wire releases.
