London Bullet is a Belgian punkband formed in 2010. Their line-up consists of Emile Dekeyser (vocals), Michiel Van Maele (bass), Gilles Dierickx (drums), & Gilles Menu and Sander Dewispelaere (guitar). Their musical approach takes influences from the 70's Britsh punkscene and early American hardcorebands from the 80's. In 2016 they released their first album "Five More Minutes". They described it as "an album with 9 tunes about heartbreak, insomnia, football, cigarettes and violence". On 11 October 2018 they released their second album, "Secrets Of The Sewer". The follow-up to their self-recorded debut album saw them taking on a new approach: they travelled to Studio 195 in the Netherlands to work with producer Patrick Delabie (Dead Stop, Toxic Shock, Charlie and the Lesbians, SONS, Cheap Drugs, et al.) This resulted in an album that, next to their distinctive punk sound, features nods to garagerock and post-punk, and at one point even flirts with reggae. In their early days they released one EP called "Riot!" on 10 september 2011 and two (free to download) singles: "The City Is Dead" and "Joe Public" (which was dedicated to the late Joe Strummer). On these releases, Milo Meskens was their lead guitarist. In 2012 they were one of the 100 bands selected for Humo's Rock Rally. They've played with Sham 69, Steak Number Eight, The Glücks, The Bloodtypes, The Mudgang, Janez Detd, Piss Test, Pizza Knife, and more. In 2019 the band announced they were going on an indefinite hiatus. In 2022 they reincarnated as a post-punk band called The Rats with the same band members.
