LOLI RIPE (stylized in capital letters) was an electronic noise and speedcore project whose music was made by multiple anonymous 4chan users mostly from the country of Sweden. Likewise, many of the group's songs reference various memes from imageboard and internet culture. Although LOLI RIPE is technically speedcore (although they venture into other adjacent genres, such as Breakcore), it helped popularize the genre lolicore through its music. The genre they helped popularize has since grown, with other artists such as goreshit, DJ Ninja Love Mistake, and No Loli-Gagging having ventured into the lolicore genre. LOLI RIPE is often credited as being the first to create lolicore music, but due to the nature of 4chan it is nearly impossible to determine who was the first.
