At 10, Lisa Portelli took guitar lessons a bit by chance. Chance, when he meets fate, does things well and even before starting her music baccalaureate, Lisa records 9 songs at the age of 13 in the form of mock-ups which ultimately never saw the light of day. The rest of the story is written in Reims where she obtained her baccalaureate and continued at the conservatory where she acquired with the classical a rigor which now allows her to enrich her songs. Without hesitation, the song takes the upper hand over the classic, and the meeting of the electric guitar - via the sound of Jeff Buckley - does the rest: Lisa Portelli will be a singer to bring her music to life. In 2007, her first album appeared on a Reims label created around her. She is 20 years old and seduced by her musical audacity, her corrosive humor in her lyrics and her attitude between modesty and savagery on stage. She connects Découvertes du Printemps de Bourges and Chantier des Francofolies and decides to settle in Paris where she meets Andoni Iturrioz from the group "Je jole" who accompanies her in the writing of her texts and who composes the wonderful "Dans l ' air "which closes the album. In Paris, in 2010 she won the "Paris Jeunes Talents" prize. Lisa Portelli continues to work, enlarges her guitar playing, refines her lyrics and never gives a lesson, delivers her vision of the world and gives birth in 2011 to "Le Régal" with which she goes beyond seduction to go without aggression to seek us at most deep within ourselves. Directed by Lionel Gaillardin (Kerenn Ann, Benjamin Biolay), it offers us a precise, intense, homogeneous album where - rare nowadays - boredom has no place. We understand better then why she cites Dominique A as a musical beacon and that she is sometimes compared to Rodolphe Burger or PJ Harvey.
