Lightsphere are Aga & Waldek Biskup (Dj Dharma). They are born in Poland, but found their home in Hamburg. They live and produce together. Their music style is a progressive trance with warm atmospheric sounds, tribal percussions and positive vibes. The sound of Lightsphere is deep and groovy with some psychedelic and housy elements. Waldek was always listening a lot of different kind of music. When he heard trance for the first time, he was fascinated of the energy and magic of this music. He started djing 1995 under the name Dharma and played a lot of gigs in Poland. He decided also to try and produce some trance tunes. Aga is attracted by morning, sunny grooves. She likes weird sound effects and melodic elements in the music. She loves dancing after the sunrise and feeling the energy of the smiling, celebrating people. Aga & Waldek started their music project with a PC, a pair of crappy speakers, 2 synths, an analog mixing console, sampler and some hardware effects. Now they are using more software and mixing stuff from various sources. They spend a lot of time sitting in front of the computer, experimenting with different sounds and try to express their feelings in the music. Lightsphere try to create a space and special atmosphere in their tunes. They got lots of inspiration from parties, the nature, good music and mind expending books. 2005 Lightsphere produced their first album, which has been released in February 2006 on Mental Arts. They also released some tracks on compilations (YSE, Spintwist).
