Leisur Hive (aka Leisur::Hive), was formed by Daniel Knowler & Maria Vellanz in an attempt to fuse angular / avant-rock song-forms, with an emotional / visceral intensity. Mark Bishop & Robert Allen complete the current line-up. Former members: Bob Leith, Warren Gaynor & Joanne Owen. Leisur Hive abrasive tones have been compared to musical individualists, such as: Swans, Cranes, Wire (aka Wir), Cop Shoot Cop & The Fall. They exist very much in their own personal world.
