There are at least two bands named Lebanon: 1) Lebanon are a d-beat hardcore band from Portland, OR, with NWOBHM // Motörhead influences. The four-piece includes vocalist/guitarist, Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise, Deathreat, Warcry, No Parade, The Cooters); bassist/vocalist, Derek Willman (From Ashes Rise, Hellshock, Remains of the Day, Coldbringer, The Estranged); guitarist, Josh Armstrong; and drummer, Joel Smith. They've been a band since late 2008 and Southern Lord has just released their debut 2-song 7", "Overdose // Overload." Lebanon has a sound consisting of choppy math-rock patterns mixed with intricately layered guitar riffs.
