Lavalu is singer, pianist and composer. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in The Netherlands. Lavalu is playing the piano since she was 4 years old and was trained in classical music. She never had much interest in pop music until she heard Tori Amos, Björk and Radiohead. By then she was a late adolescent and find the inspiration to compose and write her own songs and lyrics. http://www.lavalu.nl Started as a singer/songwriter Lavalu won several awards and start playing with great musicians since 2005. Her voice fills the gap between Björk and Roisin Murphy.
