Working under the name "Language Of Kings," Mustafa Shaheen created the one-man band in November of 2005. Compared to most, the Studio Art major who moved to the U.S. when he was eleven, developed a love for playing musical instruments late in life. Since 2004, he has been steadily making gains and honing his skills. Besides art, music was another pure and honest method of expression and he has been expressing ever since. With a large amount of influences ranging from bands and artists such as Phosphorescent and Wilco, to Devendra Banhart and Andrew Bird, the music has eclectic, experimental, and alternative elements packaged in surprising melodies and mood changes.
