Lana Jurčević (La Lana), Lana (라나 / 拉娜) (Russian K-pop Soloist), LANA (Japanese Rapper). 1) Lana Jurčević (La Lana) Lana Jurčević is a Croatian pop singer born in Zagreb in 1984. She released her self-titled debut album in 2002, working early in her career with prominent Croatian writers and producers including Milana Vlaović, Nikša Bratoš, Ante Pecotić, Muc Softić and Severina. Her 2005 single Ovo nije istina won an award at the Croatian Radio Festival. She followed it with the albums 1 razlog (2006) and Volim biti zaljubljena (2008). In 2010 she released a best-of collection titled Kopija, promoted with a single of the same name. In 2012 she released her album Pobjede i porazi, marking her debut as a songwriter. Singles from this era include Zašto volim loše dečke, Što je moje, što je njeno, Nitko i ništa and La La Land. She later released the single Noć bez granica in collaboration with Connect. She has also worked under the stage name La Lana, releasing English-language material. 2) Lana (라나 / 拉娜) (Russian K-pop Soloist) Lana is a Russian singer and songwriter known for promoting as a solo artist in the Korean music industry. Raised in Poronaysk on Sakhalin Island, she developed an early interest in Korean culture after watching Korean dramas and began studying the language seriously after high school. She first appeared on Korean television in 2017 on the programs Abnormal Summit and Welcome, First Time in Korea?, later becoming a trainee under various entertainment companies in South Korea. Lana officially debuted on 27 June 2019 as one of the first solo Russian artists in K-pop with the single Take the Wheel. Later that year she released Make It Real, which showcased a more rap-focused style and explored her experiences navigating the industry. In 2020 she participated in the Chinese survival show Produce Camp 2020 and released her first Chinese digital single Talk Talk. 3) LANA (Japanese Rapper) LANA is a Japanese rapper and singer from Shōnan, Kanagawa Prefecture. She began gaining attention around 2020 through uploads to SoundCloud, quickly developing a reputation for mixing hip-hop, R&B and pop with a distinctive husky vocal tone. Her work often blends Japanese and English lyrics, and she has become a rising figure within Japan’s new-generation rap scene. Notable tracks include FLAME, PULL UP and TURN IT UP, along with multiple collaborations with artists in the Japanese hip-hop community. In 2023 she released the EP 19, featuring tracks such as Huh? and BASH BASH.
