I've been obsessed with Sound even before I knew what Sound Design was all about. It was around 2006 when I received my first personal computer, the Macintosh . Interestingly enough, the root of my passion for design could be stemmed from this very moment. As the computer had been preinstalled with programs like Garage Band and logic express , I was bound to spend hours recording and editing (with a loop in that program). Soon enough, I grew tired of these applications and moved on to a heftier Sound program, Logic pro. This could be considered my stepping stone into the realm of Sound design. The powerful tools and interface allowed me to create anything I envisioned from scratch. While most of the creations were worthy of a 12-year old melodies and designs, it became an obsession for me. Throughout the last few years, I have practice every tools of the program and have begun developing my skill set step by step. As a designer, I strive to engineer form and function in complete harmony. Removing unnecessary design elements and having a concise and direct approach to design problems will ultimately create a successful music and sound for both its content and its design.
