Klipsnot was formed in 2008 in Århus, Denmark. They began playing punk, and released their first demo, "Demo", the same year and played a concert afterwards. For some time they were not active, and then guitarist, Inooraq Kreutzmann, left the band because he had to move back to Greenland. Klipsnot found a new guitarist, Frederik Vognstrup, and changed their direction in music to grindcore. Vognstrup was then replaced by Mathias Thomsen. The band split once again but was brought back to life by former bass-player Simon Skotte who switched to guitar.
