Kill The Curse was formed by members and ex-members of such Finnish heavy hardcore stalwarts as Bolt, Endstand, Cold Inside, Security Threat and On A Solid Rock. Knowing each other from playing shows together through the years, and sharing a similar vision in doing something fresh musically without forgetting to pay respect to their roots and influences, the idea for Kill The Curse gradually developed. A few years after the end of Security Threat, vocalist Kalle (Pennanen) was ready for a new project, and main songwriter Miikka asked him to try out for a few new songs that didn’t fit his other bands. Adding Lauri (Louekari) from BOLT to keep the beat and Tapio (Vartiainen) to back it up with bass, they had a solid line-up some would even refer to as an ”all-star group”.
