Raised on the outskirts of NYC somewhere between the Long Island middle class and the Hamptons elite, Ken's music has evolved across cultural, social, and stylistic lines to include modern blues, contemporary rock, theatrical scores, and electronic music -- all of which he shuffles like any other guy juggling as many things as he can while trying to make it through life in modern America. Open and approachable to both fans and fellow artists, Ken's work continues to evolve as he explores a mix of musical territories both new and old and the audience's reactions to them. His driving philosophy is about doing it yourself, keeping it simple, and letting the music speak on its own terms without a collection of suits, producers, and recording industry types between him and the listener. Real music recorded and produced without complicating or commercializing its meaning. Ken is currently working on multiple projects, including a full length live album and a separate collection of electronic pieces and theatrical compositions to be released under a Creative Commons License for use by emerging film and video artists.
