Emerging from the fertile Boston music scene with the legendary band Moving Targets, Kenny Chambers proved a formidable guitarist/vocalist as well as a fully formed songwriting talent with the Targets debut "Burning in Water". Chambers then proceeded to jump from one ship to the next --Dredd Foole and the Din (featuring Mission of Burma), Bullet LaVolta, American Pulverizer, solo bands, etc.-- racking up in the neighborhood of 20 releases over a 10 year period (including several additional Moving Targets records). After touring the US and Europe with both the Targets and LaVolta, Chambers abruptly took what has turned out to be a 15 year break from music activity. Now playing the occasional fired-up live show with his band The Stone Strangers (which features Leonard Cohen's guitarist Bob Metzger), Chambers is preparing to record not one but two new records of his backlog of unreased songs and playing a batch of solo shows on the East Coast. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Ken+Chambers">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
