Kastaphor are a group of like minded people with their own unique vibes, which has melded to form a sound that is hard to pinpoint. Rob (guitar), Ged (bass) and Karl (drums) have been together since 2007, working both with singers and as an instrumental outfit. In August 2009, Emma (vocals) answered an online ad, auditioned and immediately became an integral part of the band. Songs and arrangements have flowed so easily that a debut album has been recorded and is slated for early 2010 release. The band are keen to get out on the road and gig these songs. All the band have diverse musical influences from dub reggae, rock, soul and indie, as well as dance and drum & bass.
