kaneel is Guillaume Richard; born in Rouen, France. He used to be your average best friend IRL and your favourite drama-queen on the WWW. For more than a decade, he released his music on several netlabels, collectives or just on his soundcloud, under the monikers of kaneel, neelka, leenak, and monsieur baguette — name subject to change. In late 2015, he released his latest (or last) album "What you hear is what you deserve". He has a bandcamp. Some says he has a soundcoud but he does not put new tunes on it.
