There are at least six artists with the name In Loving Memory:
1) In Loving Memory was an emotional spazzy hardcore (aka screamo) band from Des Moines, Iowa that formed in August 1998 when the band's members were only 16-17 years old at the time. Formerly known as "Day of Atonement," ILM's initial line-up featured Brian on bass guitar, Spencer on drums, and Jordan on guitar. Justin Heuss was the original vocalist. When Justin moved to Pella, Brian took up bass and vocals. Later, they added Joe on bass, Jen on dual vocals and Tanner on second guitar. When Tanner decided to move back to Sioux Falls, he was replaced by Elliot Imes of the Whore Moans. The band had influences ranging from Saetia to Jeromes Dream, and were known for their intense live performances. The band split up in 2001. A discography CD/DVD, which will feature all of the band's recordings is rumored to be released by Init Records in the future. In the year 2023 the band got back together with the same line-up except Elliot Imes, and Tanner took his place. They released a new EP "A Gentler Sun EP".
