Formed January of 2009, Ike as in Dwight's music is organic by nature, creating songs built upon basic principles yet complex in structure. With upbeat, light-hearted beats, Ike as in Dwight focuses on simple and moving melodies, extensive use of vocal harmonies between a male and female vocalist, and a lot of emphasis placed on dynamics.
