ICE NINE hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana represented the glorious outbreak of powerviolence in the 90's. An experimental willingness to deliver rebellion in the loudest form. Straight forward attack of raw hardcore with intense pulverizing drumming, swirling guitar leads and the fragmentary midwest stop and start twists. The band was originally slated to release an LP in 1996, but the band broke up before it was recorded. A successful CD collection of Ice Nine's material from the Bovine, Ebullition, Rhetoric labels was released in 2004 and a mastered reissue on 2009.
