I Am Eternity started back in 2010 in Northern Michigan when former members asked Wesley to join their band. Soon after, they began writing and recording their music. Within a couple of months they had lost their vocalist due to commitments to the air force. Soon after that, their drummer and guitarist had to drop out because of school and sports. Wesley tried to maintain the band with the help of guitarist Zac, but it was difficult. In the early months of 2011, Wesley had moved to southern Michigan to pursue his education, which made working with the band even more difficult. Wesley had other band offers and was ready to abandon I Am Eternity altogether. At the end of February, DJ Baker had found Wesley through an ad posted on the internet looking for band members, and that sparked a new fire for I Am Eternity. DJ brought in new life to a dying band. This inspired them to begin searching for all new members. After weeks of searching, Dan Simpson and Stephen Robinson were found through the same way DJ found I Am Eternity and were brought into the family. After a few months of writing and recording new songs and playing their first shows, I Am Eternity had to say goodbye to original guitarist Zac due to distance and future plans. In his place, they added Zak VanLooke as shredding lead guitarist. He was given the nickname "OZ" for other Zak. Now with a full lineup, I Am Eternity is ready to spread their music to the masses.
