Horn of Valere is a fantasy-inspired black metal band formed in 2003 in Providence, Rhode Island, USA under the name Basiliskk. The former vocalist / bassist, Battle Tyrant, plays in various other side projects with Horn of Valere members. The Horn of Valere is a legendary object in fantasy author Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series.
