High Above The Storm are a London based band formed in 2004 who are influenced by a wide range of music. The core members are Jason Emberton (drums/keyboard/production), Louis Warner (vocals/guitar), Crawford Blair (bass) and Ben McLees (guitar). The band has completed recording their debut album which is out now and available on iTunes, AmazonMP3 and most legit download stores. HATS has focussed on honing a songwriting process that has veered through turns and twists - music has been thrown out, pared down, re-assembled and remixed. The sound emerging in the latter half of 2008 was married to the songwriting of the former years and the band have agreed to release their debut album which spans over 3 years of collaboration. The sound is a genre defying blend of post-rock, electro and acoustic melody. The band are based in West London.
