Heartcakeparty was a post-hardcore/metalcore band from Summerville/Atlanta, Georgia, United States formed in 2007. They hit the scene running, having quickly a substantial following in a short amount of time. Risen from the ashes of formal local acts, the men of HCP deliver a skillful, passionate, and extremely animated performance. This, combined with their ability to truly connect with their friends and fans, can only be a factor in their fanbase success. Their catchy and aggressively-charged guitar work, paired with the raw emotion and melodic range of the vocals, rhythmically charged with a pounding drum performance, make Heartcakeparty one of the top post-hardcore/metalcore bands to hit the South. Their 2007 EP and their 2010 EP was recorded with producers Josh Scogin of The Chariot, and Jeremy Griffith at Glow in the Dark Studios. Griffith has previously worked with such acts as Underoath and Norma Jean. The Band was recently featured on the MTV true life show "Thumbs" as well as an article in Alternative Press #207.
