Grim Salvo is a duo of two artists, SLEUTH (Patrick Jobe) and MOSSBACK (Spencer Linn). The two are childhood friends hailing from Portland, Oregon. The name "Grim Salvo" according to SLEUTH and MOSSBACK is a name that "we randomly made up but the meaning perfectly encapsulates our purpose." The two are also two parts of the three-man production team ³³marrow, which consists of SLEUTH, MOSSBACK, and longtime collaborator Jeremy Klein, an audio engineer also from Portland. The duo also are a part of the dark trap supergroup Haunted House. Haunted House features Grim Salvo, KAMAARA, TWENTYTHREE, Savage Ga$p, Saliva Grey, 99zed, and Witchhouse 40k. A number of the artists in the group are longtime collaborators, and have a large number of tracks produced by ³³marrow. So far, all tracks released under Haunted House have been produced by ³³marrow. Additionally, the two are also a part of The Odious, under which the band releases music that consists of a much heavier sound.
