The Giants of Science is an Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland. The band have self-described their sound as 'psych-rock'. They have released two albums; "Here Is The Punishment" (2005) and "The History of Warfare" (2002). Based around the songs of lead singer and guitar player, Ben Salter, the first album featured elements from sources such as stoner rock bands like Kyuss and Fu Manchu plus QOTSA and Australian pub rock. However on Here Is The Punishment the sound became more adventurous musically.
