Gewapend Beton started out in 2003 and released their first demo CD-r ''Embryo Punk'' the same year. Then the band recorded 7 songs in 2004 and it took almost a year before the split LP with the Bakfiets Boys "Nederpunk Gaat Door" came out. After lots of cool shows and touring trough Europe the band went back to the studio again in 2007 to record their first full length LP/CD ''17 Until We Die''. Since then Gewapend Beton didn't took the time to sit still and only one year later they finished the recordings for the "Empty Batteries". By that time Crucial Attack Records and La Familia Records came together to release the "Emty Batteries" 12" EP. Crucial Attack Records will also release the CD version of Gewapend Beton "Emty Batteries". We from Crucial Attack Records are really happy to announce that the Gewapend Beton "Empty Batteries" 12" EP/CD is out now! Six songs of perfect balanced hardcore punk, a mix of 80's influences from bands like Bad Brains, Zero Boys, Discharge and Reagan Youth.
