Garden Blue was formed in the Summer of 2007 by Helen Auerbach and Matthew Hayward. The 'Outside In' LP is the first recording by the band (featuring Kevin Wood of Malfunkshun/Fire Ants and Edie Brickell of Edie Brickell and new Bohemians) Mixed and Produced at Sundance Studios, the album was finished in June '08. They are currently recording their second record, a 5 track EP entitled 'Bliss'. Written in an intense 6 month writing and recording period, 'Outside In' was released independently, and Garden Blue has since gathered a strong following. The album was well received by critics and audiences alike, featuring multi -platinum selling artist Edie Brickell of Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, and Kevin Wood of Fire Ants/Malfunkshun. The single 'Twine' was released on Dekema Records in 2007. In the summer of 2008 the band released "Dominoes" on a compilation CD, 'Highway Blues volume 1' with Record Label '272 Records'.
