Frida Selander is a swedish musician from Holmsund, close to Umeå in the north of Sweden. Influenced by Patti Smith, Neil Young and Nina Simone she produces music with strong vocals accompanied by rhyming guitars on her own label AMASONORA. She also plays bass guitar in the band "David sandström overdrive". So far she has released 5 solo albums. Her debut album "Be the knight" was released in 2006 followed by two albums in 2007. "Happy Knocks” which included outtakes from “Be The Knight” and the album “My Dance” which was written especially for a puppet theatre performance with the same name.
