Forever Annihilating The Obese - or F.A.T.O., for short - were a humorous mincegrind / thrashcore 4-piece from Oshawa / Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. F.A.T.O. initially formed sometime around 2000 as bass and drums with the following lineup: Dan Roberts - Vocals, Michael Majewski - Bass, and Leigh Schiller (AKA Leezus) - Drums. Later on, however, Riley Hoffman joined on guitar. After an endless number of memorable gigs, a handful of DIY releases, and the band’s longtime dedicated involvement and importance in the Canadian grind scene, F.A.T.O. called it quits in 2009 due to the tragic death of founding member, Michael Majewski. Old school, striaght up, down and dirty grindcore, Forever Annhilating The Obese (FATO) deliver speedy, heavy, yet dancy grooves using only a papery sounding bass, large drums and interesting vox. Members of F.A.T.O. used to run Scab Bombardment Productions (scabbombprod.8m.com), and went on to form / continue to play in Crazy Bomber, G.O.D. (Grotesque Organ Defilement), Excommunicated, Avon Dealer, Indictable Mischief and Twister Fister.
