Fireset Project is a german melodic metal Band with orchestral influences. History: The band was formed in 2007 in Bochum, Germany by the Mortes Vivendi members: Manuel Krusy, Jonathan Krusy and Fabian Bäcker , to break new musical ground. It was originally found as studioproject but after Mortes Vivendi split in the end of 2007, Fireset Project more and more became an indepentend band. The band decided to stay in this formation of three members and to hire guest-musiscians and -singers for live-gigs or studio recordings. The band was influenced by many bands of the melodic and power metal genre, like Sonata Arctica, Kamelot and Avantasia. In early 2010 Fireset looked ot for being a complete Band. The search for additional members started. In June 2010 Chewie (former Black Messiah; there known as Surthur) joined the Band on the drums.In July 2010 Ben Oszfolk (former Mortes Vivendi) joined on the keys.
