Fern Lane’s music is most easily classified as poppy rock & roll, but they have also been described as weird, “The Ramones with a keyboard,” and, their undeniable favorite, “The Go-Go’s meets N.W.A.” Fern Lane was formed in a garage in Glendale, CA, in 2008, when Kristin, Brittany, and Katrina, decided that Los Angeles needed more rock & roll music, more sassy lyrics, and more dance beats to bring it all together. They called their old pal, Suren, and began writing and recording music, and then playing shows. Since then, Fern Lane has created rock & roll mayhem all over the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and most recently, Hollywood. When they’re not in the garage rocking and rolling, Fern Lane can often be found frolicking around Los Angeles, making prank phone calls, enjoying Del Taco parking lot picnics, goosing and/or punching hipsters, or racing each other in circles. Currently, Fern Lane is recording their first EP, booking and playing shows all over Los Angeles and Hollywood, writing new songs, and creating homemade merchandise with the help of glitter and glow in the dark fabric paint. Fern Lane’s future is as bright as a shiny new tuba. "You are in a very sexy band. All those girls are adorable. It's almost disgusting." -- Devon Warren Read more on Last.fm.
