Fatt Snak is an broke underground Hiphop artist / writer. You might also know him like 'Snak' or 'Snak The Ripper'. Snak lives in East Vancouver, British Columbia Canada, he likes to write, drink, smoke and makes music. He roles with the famous SDK crew (StompDownKillers).
Here something he wrote himself:
In February of 2007, I was living alone in a small one bedroom apartment in East Vancouver. I had no phone, no stereo, cds, food, nothing. I was heavily addicted to drugs, and other than that, all I had was an obsession for people to know my name. Simple right? So, I had been writing graffiti for eleven years at that point, and leading up to that time, I had been travelling and bombing in cities all accross Canada. I found myself back in my home city, with few real friends, and no confidence or belief in myself at all. I weighed 140 pounds or some shit. Rock bottom is an understatement. I looked like a skeleton with skin. Im still not sure how it happened, but one day I decided I was gonna rap. People that knew me thought I was delusional. I didnt know what i was doing, I just knew that if I wanted to live longer, I had to quit doing all those drugs. I knew I needed to start focusing on something that didnt only help me progress, but kept my mind off getting fucked up every night. I started locking myself in the apartment most nights instead of going out and getting high. And by high I dont mean weed high. My homie scored me an old computer he had for free, and I started listening to beats. I didnt know any producers so I just rapped over classic beats. I knew how to freestyle, but I had no fucking idea how to write lyrics, let alone a whole song. So anyway, I continued to stay in my apartment, listening to beats, and smoking as much marijuana as humanly possible. I wrote my first verse in that apartment. It took me two days. You can hear it on a song from my first album titled, ''Another Day''. That was almost three years ago. My life has changed dramatically since then. I still have no idea what Im doing here. All I know is that people really like my music, and Im grateful for that. If it wasnt for my fans and the support I'v recieved, Im not sure if I'd still be alive. Thank you for sticking with me. Im not gonna stop this shit, it's all I have.
Snak is loyal.. still doing his shit. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
