Making nothing but extreme metal, which was their passion. Things started out slow in the first half year. Then the 2 men came together to start writing riffs and texts. They were also looking for a drummer for the band. So they started looking around in their friend database who they knew was a nice yet brutal dude. They realised Pascal was a drummer and invited him to join the band. he agreed. He took drumming back up thanks to Patrick and Arnaud, he hadn't been doing it for a while and his drumkit was replaced from his house, so they went to get the kit back to his house. (He had to clean it firmly, a lot of dust...) Soon the band had it's first gig at a party. While not having a song complete yet and only a week to make it... But succeeded! it was a Thrash/Death Metal song called "We're Killing Evil" the band played their first song and it was bangin' brutal. After a while Patrick had to move and went to live in Germany. (he plans on moving back to Holland when he has the money for his own place) So the band had to look for an other guitarist. this was quite a journey since there arent so many guitarists around who play the style, and fit perfect to the band and whatever. before finding somebody Arnaud took up playing bass guitar and made a couple of songs together with Pascal. still in the search of a guitarist Arnaud invited Bas Brinkenberg who was his colleague. This worked out pretty well for a while, but since Bas had some personal issues he quit the band. Arnaud then took over the guitar playing. once later a new member entered the band! His name is Evert te Winkel and he takes on the vocals. Arnaud will still participate with some vocals in the songs aswell. we are lucky with the following: we have recently found a second guitarist: Marc van der Molen. he's doing a great job already. he's a quick learner! now also joined the band as a bass guitar player: Thijs Kwint. with him we're very happy aswell. 4 september 2010 Explored had a gig at Night Of Metal (www.nightofmetal.com). a Dutch band called Burial Earth had to cancel, and Explored covered for them. we played 8 songs in total. we are Explored, a Death Metal band from Apeldoorn. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Explored">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
