End of the Dream is a metal band that was formed in 2010 in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands by guitar/keyboard player Armen Shamelian, guitarist Robin van Ekeren and vocalist Micky Huijsmans. They have spent their first several years writing and recording songs while establishing their own unique sound. In 2013 they were joined by Belgian drummer Pieter Driesen, and bassist Tim van den Hooven joined them in January 2014. Right now they are building up a fanbase by playing shows in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, in support of their first EP. In August 2014 End of the Dream began recording their debut album ‘All I Am’ at Sandlane Studios with producer Joost van den Broek (After Forever), which will be released during the first quarter of 2015. During the process, drummer Pieter decided he had to leave the band after recording the drum tracks for All I Am because he couldn’t find the time to fully devote himself to the dynamic being that is End of the Dream. While the recording of the album continued, the band organized auditions for a new drummer, and in December 2014 they announced that Pim Geraets would be the new addition to the band.
