Emmeffe is an electronic music artist from Milan, Italy. Marco Fantin was born in 1971 in Vercelli (Piedmont). Growing up with music, he learned as a child to play different instruments, with curiosity and passion. After studying classical piano he devoted himself to musical harmony and theory, the use of synthesizers and guitar (rock, pop and funk). Among his many collaborations and experiences, we can cite the one with the progressive band Arcansiel, expression of the Neoprogressive current, with four albums since 1988. His synths are in three tracks from the 2004 album, Swimming in the Sand. He was also a founding member and guitarist of Infrared, a Milanese rock band with which he released the eponymous EP in 2016. Then, for the first album Souls in 2017, he composed the guitar parts. In addition, he opened with the same band the concert of Jane’s Addiction in Milan (at the Fabrique), during their only 2016 Italian tour date. After this rock parenthesis his interest in electronic music and synthesizers took over.
