Eduardo Paniagua, born in Madrid in 1952, is an architect and conductor. He has performed early music since the year 1966 with ensembles such as Atrium Musicæ (Atrium Musicae de Madrid), Hoquetus and Calamus, and currently directs the groups Música Antigua and Ibn Báya (Arab-Andalusian music). He is the founder and director of the recording label Pneuma. From 1995 to 1998 he was contracted by Sony Classical to record the Hispanica medieval music collection.
