A true Kiwi, Duncan was born along with identical twin brother Fraser on the 12/12 at 12pm. He has been influenced by many of New Zealand's artists. Folk and acoustic music is his apparent passion, following musicians such as Ryan Adams, Bic Runga, Wilco, Dinosaur, Jr., and The Dunedin Sound. Heal is also a fan of Alternative music however this doesn't come across as much as the folk and acoustic influences in his songs. A resident of the South Island, Duncan resides in Nelson where he operates his web development business. Music is a side hobby but his main passion with his office/garage crammed full of guitars, drums and various other instruments. He often jams with his brother and writes songs based on experiences throughout his life.
