A unique blend of reggae, dub, steppers and dancehall unites producers from Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in the sound system called Dubatak. Formed in 2007 the group control a studio and a record label where they have produced many singles and released 7″vinyl records since 2008 featuring artists such as Earl Sixteen, Shaky Norman, Ruben da Silva, Tippa Irie and Dada Yute. Besides releases on vinyl, the sound system has also produced music and dubplates and exclusive tracks with other international artists such as the jamaicans Johnny Clarke, Bushman, Andrew Tosh, Suga Roy & Crystal, Horace Andy, The scotish MC Soom T, the French Pigments Libre, among others. Live, Dubatak has performed and shared the stage at venues and reggae festivals with with names like Ranking Joe, Bushman, Deedar Zaman, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Jahtari Sound, Digitaldubs, King Tubby Sound System, Riddim Culture and Jahspora Sound at the UK, France, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Brazil. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/DUBATAK+SOUND+SYSTEM">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
