3. Dryer (USA)
During the mid-90s, if you were situated in the Saratoga Springs/Albany, NY area and had your ear fairly close to the ground, you may remember the band Dryer as being something of a club and college radio staple. The band reunited in 2010 to celebrate the release a 31 track colllection of released and unreleased material on the NJ based label Fake Chapter Records, and are currently rehearsing new material for a new album later in 2012 on the same label. Dryer is a co-ed, indie-rock trio who bore a resemblance to Superchunk and Velocity Girl, though they didn't completely exude the excitement of either. There were three Dryer full length CDs and multiple 7" eps that rolled off the presses between 1993 - 2002. Read more on Last.fm.
