Hailing from Hull, UK, singer-songwriter Doug Peters has been playing his own brand of acoustic prog-folk to audiences in the UK and beyond since the early 1990s.
As well as his own CDs, his music also appears on the folk compilation CD 'John Barleycorn Reborn: Dark Britannica' on Cold Spring records, which features an eclectic mix of dark folk from acts in the UK, including names such as Peter Ulrich (Dead Can Dance/This Mortal Coil). John Barleycorn Reborn has been praised in a lengthy review by author and musician Julian Cope.
