DJ Lucca (Lucie Kvasnicová, Czech Republic) is one of the leading DJ's on czech scene. She began performing as a DJ in 1999, but she has been on the dance scene since 1995, when she was working for a big promotion agency at the Boby Centre in Brno. In 2002, she was acclaimed „Newcomer of the Year“ by the Czech magazine Bassline and one year later, in 2003, she became the most popular DJ in the Czech Republic according to the Czech Dance Music Awards, which is regularly presented by the prestigous Czech magazine, XMAG. The same year, German magazine Groove, placed her 9th in the category of „Newcomer of the Year“. In September 2004, Lucca established her own label, Acapulco, where her subtly psychedelic track, Freedom, was released as a debut with Mirage 01 on the B-side.
