DJ FREEGOD was born in Chicago, Illinois in 2004 and raised in Chicago’s far north side. DJ FREEGOD started making music in 2019 as a hip hop producer. After having trouble finding placements, DJ FREEGOD began to release beat tapes on SoundCloud, YouTube, and Bandcamp. The first beat tape DJ FREEGOD released in April 2020 and was named “To Be Frank Vol. 1”. He followed that release with “SWEETS” two years later in April 2022. DJ FREEGOD released his final beat tape “DERANGED DEGENERATIVE SOUNDSCAPES”in July 2022. He then went onto drop his first electronic release with the EP “2010’S BABY” in September 2022. He followed that release with “Twerking At My Funeral” in August 2023. DJ FREEGOD dropped his first album to be released on streaming with “Deranged Degenerative Soundscapes, Pt. 2” in February 2024. He followed that up with the mixtape “Tbfv2” in May 2024. He then released his second mixtape of the year “FREEGOD FREESTYLE FREEMIX” later in May. DJ FREEGOD’s most recent release is the album “Preparing for War” which dropped during September 2024. Much of DJ FREEGOD’s music is influenced by the internet and it’s consequences.
