Distant Shores is a metalcore band, formed in the late 2021 by its guitarists Raul Guidini and João Pedro. Inspired by bands like Polaris , Project46, Axty, After The Burial, Bleed From Within, Crystal Lake, Darko US and LANDMVRKS, the group brings lyrics that approach internal conflicts and comotion from a inside point of view. The instrumental searches a modern metalcore sonority with major influences from djent and minor influences from genres like hardcore/post-hardcore/deathcore.
