Depictions of Rue Morgue formed in 2010. By the following year, what originally began as duo became a full group, by which point an EP was in the works. In April 2011, "A Staggering Miscalculation" was released online, and spread across numerous sites quicker than anticipated. DORM's dark dissonant tones are accompanied by bright melodies, grotesque vocal segments, thunderous drum patterns, and eerie synth and atmospheres.
