Denis [Yukio] Koishi is a brazilian citizen of Japanese ethnic origin, born in September 18th 1974 in Sao Jose dos Campos, Sao Paulo state. In his childhood he studied classic piano, and during his adolescence he turned to bass guitar. After concluding his studies at State University of Campinas, getting a BSc in Biology, he decided to pursuit a professional music career. Interested in contemporary music composers he worked from 2005 to 2007 at the Brazilian branch from the French "Centre de documentation de la musique contemporaine" In 2008 he got a B.A. at the State University of Campinas, and currently he's enroled in a Masters program at the same institution. His experimental improvising combo (OlhoCaligari) has participated in a number of international festivals in Argentina, Chile, Brazil, USA, Spain, France and Greece. Since 2008, he has been working as an In-House music composer and sound designer at Tectoy Digital, Brazil, composing the soundtracks for "Sam Power: Footballer", Ubisoft; "Ragnarok On-Line: Terra Brasilis"; Gravity Corp., and a number of titles for Zeebo console: "Zeebo Extreme Series" and "Boomerang Sports", and mobile. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Denis+Koishi">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
