We are fools. We are super geniuses. We are Das Black Milk. We like food....a lot! We like our moms and dads. We like (to play) parties. We like throwing parties more. There is no despair in knowing the "likes." Right? There may be more than a few shadows of pointed fingers cast upon our chests, but that's expected in this business. We only wanted to make you smile. You know we make you smile. Don't blame us for that. Don't blame us for being a "party band." And please, please don't utter the word "derivative" (unless you mean "derivative" as a synonym for "centrifuge of influence, ideas and spirit"). Of course we steal what we know! We just hope you know what we steal. There is a bit of self-discovery in retracing the steps of your heroes. I think Chaka Khan said that. Or was it Mark Twain? We are fine American boys. It's not that we don't like America. We just dislike the ugly little nooks and crannies of America. "Sexy" became about as sexy as a college one-night-stand. There's an old guy in the back of the bar staring down the black kid. I spent a lot of money yesterday on stuff that that was obsolete last month. The television is real easy to turn off, but why search for the remote? All the fun stuff about America is kinda cockeyed. Das Black Milk thinks so anyway, so we recorded "Sex Freaks."
