He was in the early 1980s post-punk bands Shockabilly and B.A.L. L as well as the performance art-rock band Bongwater with lyricist,singer/songwriter and actress Ann Magnuson. The studio projects between Daevid Allen and Kramer produced two albums, Hit Men and Who’s Afraid? - both having a modern twist on the Canterbury progressive rock sound and the latter album also having a Syd Barrett type influence in both vocals and lyrics. The two also later collaborated on the album The Children’s Crusade in the band Brainville with other classic Canterbury 60s era progressive rock artists such as Allen’s former Soft Machine band mate, Hugh Hopper and Pip Pyle of Hatfield and the North. Read more on Last.fm.
